How to keep your hot mixing asphalt plant in good condition
- The asphalt mixing plant equipment operator should ensure that the
equipment is in good condition before using it. The equipment should also be equipped with mineral water content detector and finished material testing instrument, and often check relevant data for operators to adjust operations in time. - In addition to affecting production capacity, the water content of mineral materials is still the main factor determining fuel consumption. So control the water content of mineral materials strictly.
- All working parts and devices of the asphalt hot mix plant equipment should be fully inspected before operation make sure they are in good condition and normal. If there are any problems, the operator must solve the problem before start the equipment for working.
- The operation must be carried out in strict accordance with the procedures and precautions specified in the instruction manual. After the ignition is normal, the dust collector should be checked for normal operation, and the drying drum should be burned under negative pressure. After the production starts, the hot hoist and the agitator should be checked for normal operation to coordinate the operation of other parts.
- After the end of the operation, the feeding should be stopped, the burner should be gradually closed, the mixing system should be washed with hot fine material, and the hot material in the drying drum and the mixing system should be drained; when the temperature of the drying drum drops to 45 to 50℃, the drying drum can be stopped. The operation of the blower and dust removal system should be stopped. The total power supply of the operating room should be cut off.
